Set-up and during the event ($15/hr):

Each helper needs to purchase a ticket for the event.
We work from 9am-7pm each day (with lunch from 1-2pm) during setup and take-down. While we endeavor to give everyone work who is approved, there are no guarantees as to how many hours you may be given during set-up or take down. During the event we will have scheduled shifts for parking and food area cleaning. You will receive a time-sheet when you arrive for you to keep track of your hours. Be at Main Stage at the start of each day to be assigned your tasks. You will need to bring your own leather work gloves, rubber boots, regular boots/shoes, rain-coat, rain-pants, rain hat, lots of spare socks, water. We will have a wholesome food vendor on-site for set-up and take-down as well as during the event who has food for sale
As a helper, you will be paid by company cheque after the event (mailed to you) for the hours you have worked once a completed accurate time-sheet has been submitted to Katalyst Events either in person or by mail/email/fax. There will be a waiver form and subcontractor agreement that need to be signed before you start work. We carry BC Worksafe to cover you in the event of an injury. As a subcontractor you will be responsible for claiming the income on your taxes, we do not take taxes, CPP or EI off your pay.

If we choose you, you will be contacted by July 15 and told which dates we need your help at which point we will be relying on you to come.
