"Jenn is part anglo, part Quebecois, part hippy at heart and she secretly dreamed of being a Cirque Du Soleil acrobat growing up in the suburbs of Montreal.
Manousos' interest in Punk and Electronic Dance Music began while living in Greece during his late teen years where he DJed at sunny poolside patios in the tourist district of Athens. They met in Montreal while studying in uni. A decade of late night dancing provided the foundation for their love for House, Jazz, funk, smiles, dancing, mirrors balls, and heavy bass.
Projects include Footwerk Events (footwerk.ca) which keeps the Kelowna BC nightclub scene fresh with intimate events at Sapphire Lounge and large scale productions at Sapphire & Heights Nightclubs. FW has played host to many world renown acts and Canadian favorites in the past six years including a full spectrum of underground sights & sounds.
Some of Jenn's other projects include organizing and performing substance-free dance events like Kelowna Yoga Raves where local yoga instructors lead blissful sessions with a live DJ.
Appearances include all sorts of West Coast party places from Calgary to Victoria like Hugh, Bloom, The Waldorf, The Dollhouse, Sessions Pub, Snoeshow Sam's, and more. Their regular appearances at Shambhala Music Festival's Fractal Forest stage (shambhalamusicfestival.com/fractal-forest), at Festivus, and at Motion Notion, keep their fans excited on the funky grooves.
Beats include fun-filled ""four four"" from bass ragers to jazzy groovers. Influences include Dirty Birds, Hotflushes, shuffly beats, pirates, unicorns, Okanagan wine, and fuzzy boots. Yes they both have day jobs. Yes, Manousos is his real name. Let's get weird!
