Average Gypsy

Over the past two years, Average Gypsy have carved out a niche for themselves in the west coast underground bass/house music scene as one of the only male-female DJ/Production duo's around. Known for their undeniably contagious, high energy sets, teamwork on the decks, and deep wobbly rolling basslines; these two have gained a large following and an expectation to always deliver a top notch performance. With over 70 shows and 8 music festivals under their belt in the past year alone, the duo is starting to capture the attention of a global audience. They have played several shows in the Southern California region, went on their first tour in the U.S. in April 2016 followed by tours in Spain and Mexico in early 2017. Not only do these two spend countless hours refining their mixing skills, but they also produce their own tracks. With an ear for the music, the transition into production was natural. Average Gypsy have already released 6 original tracks and 1 remix in their first year of producing, 3 of which were signed to record labels (MalLabel Music, Helitricity Records, Sheppard Records). Talented equally on the decks as in the studio, Average Gypsy's first Beatport release in January 2017, 'Hot Boi' charted in the Top 100 Indie Dance/Nu Disco Releases, remaining in the top 10 for over two weeks (https://www.beatport.com/release/hot-boi/1921342). Their most recent track, 'Rise Up' was released independently and charted in the Top 100 on Hypeddit for 4 weeks. (https://soundcloud.com/average-gypsy/rise-up-ag-x-lola-phyne). Average Gypsy are not slowing down anytime soon, you can expect a full album from them dropping in fall 2017. Their music can be described as bouncy, 4 to the floor beats, characterized by pretty melodies and deep, wobbly, rolling basslines; heavily influenced by hip hop and the underground bass house music scene. The love and passion Average Gypsy have for their craft and for each other is undeniable and transcends everything they do! Specializing in Wobble House, G House, Tech House, and Brazilian Bass
